When I was deciding if I wanted to grow marijuana, I needed to research the environment it needs for the best result.
I learned that I can’t just put it in a garden out back and expect it to grow.
I’ll be very disappointed at the results. Marijuana needs a steady supply of light, water, and humidity to thrive. I came to find out that the best temperature range for growth is at 65 to 73 degrees. A greenhouse setting may be best. I always wondered why people grow it in their basements. The environment is controlled in this section because I’d be able to purchase lighting that gives off the same energy as sunlight. I’d even be able to control the temperature in the room and the soil content. In greater marijuana farming operations, much of the plants are grown hydroponically, which means they don’t have soil at all and the water is monitored to ensure the plant is healthy. In big marijuana farms, they control the air conditions, humidity, and oxygen levels to make sure that the plant will flourish. This will allow me to get the best product possible out of each one of them. These are all things I need to consider before deciding I want to grow marijuana on my own! I also need to check with my local government to see if there are any restrictions on the amount that I’d be able to have on my property. There might be times where I’d want to just leave it up to the professional farmers and purchase quality marijuana from them instead.
