Our kid was a very difficult teenager to work with.
He was typically getting into all kinds of trouble at school and he was extremely rebellious when it came to our rules.
He fell in with a crowd the two of us were not blissful with so when he made the decision to go away to college the two of us were very concerned for his safety. The people I was with and I knew that he would be drinking and doing whatever else but we honestly had no choice but to let him go. His first fall semester was a real challenge but after that he seemed to grow up a lot and become a responsible student. When he informed us he declared his major in scientific research the people I was with and I were extremely blissful. The people I was with and I then learned the reason behind it, however. His goal was to become a Master Grower at a marijuana farm. The people I was with and I should have known that this would be something he would go for as he had smoked pot for years. Now, multiple states have made its use legal and the industry is really booming. Even though we were quite disappointed in his reasons the people I was with and I had to admit he would really be fine at the job entirely. As a Master Grower he told us he could gain a really decent salary and be able to live on his own and pay all of his bills. This sounded fine to us because we actually assumed he would transfer back to our dwelling and live in the basement when he eventually finished college. I have done a little bit of studying on marijuana farms and they seem to be a completely lucrative business. They hire multiple people who have degrees in various areas of math so they are able to continue to develop current products for both medical and recreational use.
